Read the Great Strides 2023 Terms & Conditions
In consideration of, and as a condition of acceptance of my entry in Cystic Fibrosis Community Care's Great Strides event, I hereby attest and verify that the information I have supplied in this entry registration is true and correct and I understand that any false information which may be found to have been deliberately provided by me, may lead to my disqualification from the event.
I hereby attest and verify that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the event. I further attest and verify that I do not have any physical or intellectual impairment that may make my participation unsafe for myself or others.
I, for myself, my heirs, my executors and administrators hereby waive and release the event organiser, its agents, affiliates, employees, members, sponsors, promoters, volunteers and any person or body directly or indirectly associated with the event from all claims, demands and proceedings arising out of or connected with my participation in this event and indemnify them against all liability for all injury, loss or damage arising out of/or connected with my participation in this event. This release continues forever and binds my heirs, successors, executors, personal representatives and assigns.
I hereby acknowledge that I have sole responsibility for my personal possessions and athletic equipment prior to, during and after the event and related activities.
I hereby grant Cystic Fibrosis Community Care and contractors or suppliers engaged by Cystic Fibrosis Community Care in connection with the event a royalty-free right to use my name, image and likeness in broadcasts, telecasts, media press and materials and promotional materials connected to the event and Cystic Fibrosis Community Care.
I hereby agree that if the event is cancelled due to storm, rain, inclement weather, winds or other Act of God conditions or other factors beyond the control of Cystic Fibrosis Community Care, my entry fee shall be non-refundable.
I hereby accept that Cystic Fibrosis Community Care reserves the right to cancel the event and refuse a participant's attendance at and/or participation in the event
I agree to have my personal details recorded and used by Cystic Fibrosis Community Care and related parties for further communications and the promotion of future events and Cystic Fibrosis Community Care activities.
I hereby agree to give permission for the event's online fundraising partner to create an online fundraising webpage on my behalf.
I hereby grant Cystic Fibrosis Community Care, contractors, suppliers and sponsors to send me event and promotional material.
I agree to have my personal details recorded and used by Cystic Fibrosis Community Care and related parties for further communications and the promotion of future events.
I agree that there are no refunds. Special requests can be made by contacting Cystic Fibrosis Community Care no later than 5pm Friday, one week prior to the event date.
I have read the above declaration, conditions of entry and the race rules and regulations and agree to abide by these and all other terms and conditions or directions issued by Cystic Fibrosis Community Care. I accept that Cystic Fibrosis Community Care has the right to alter these terms and conditions up to and including the date of the event. Variations will be posted on the event website and it is my responsibility to check for any updates.
