The Emmett Army

Great Strides is an annual fun run/walk to raise awareness for people living with cystic fibrosis which is traditionally held in September in Victoria and NSW. It is an opportunity for the community to run, skip, walk and talk their way while raising much needed funds in support of people living with CF.

We're walking in honour of Emmett. He's a brilliant, hilarious, vibrant 4 year old who wants to be Paleontologist when he grows up. So we're determined that he get the chance to grow up and dig for dinos. CF is a hard mistress - we've spent the last few months undertaking a brutal multi-treatment regime (including 3 weeks in the Royal Children's Hospital 🫠 ) to get him through a range of setbacks. We cannot do any of it without the support of our family, friends and the wider community. So help up raise money to support Emmett and all other salty warriors! Get involved! Get your friends involved! Ask your family members, colleagues, housemates, dentists, posties, waxers, delivery drivers, lollipop ladies and landlords to join in the fun!
